Hey everyone... I have long thick hair and I got them highlighted... They have turned pretty rough since then with a lot of split ends... can anyone please suggest a remedy?

The only thing that will get rid of them is by having them cut off, in saying that there are heaps of ways to make your hair feel better if you don't want to have a haircut. Try an oil, right now I'm using argon/maroccan oil and have been doing so for about 2 months and my hair is the most hydrated it's been since I can remember. Also, a good hair serum will keep your hair feeling silky smooth, I really like the garnier brand ones. :)

To actually fix split ends, all you can do its cut your hair. Otherwise, the hair will continue splitting higher and higher up and do more damage to your hair.

Trimming it will help. I had the same problem but when I got my ends trimmed it grew back healthier and no split ends:))) Hope this helps

You honestly can't repair split ends, it's kinda like if you cut a piece of paper and then use glue to try and mend it but it's never truly the same as before. You can disguise them with silicones and such, I use macadamia healing oil on my ends to seal the splits and make them not as frizzy. Overall though if you want them gone you'll need to cut them and make sure you go in to get them trimmed every 4-6 weeks.
