Help please purple hair!

Long story short I have super thin fine hair, I'm trying to go purple (like the picture or a shade darker) I don't want to have to bleach the hell out of my hair, but would a soap cap or full highlights be the best option? Options please here is a picture of my hair now (I messed it up) and what I want I tried doing my hair myself but I ended up with brown natural roots with purple in the middle and dark end -_-

A soap cap might just make it even harder to lighten because it can push the (dark) color deeper. I'd go to a color corrector specialist or just wait for the purple to fade completely and then do a soap cap or hilights.

You could try and use loreal hi color in magenta and then go over it with a vibrant purple veggie dye, but it will fade to be a tiny bit more pinky purple.

A soap cap wouldn't do much I would do highlights if you don't want to commit to full on bleach, did you bleach it at all before you put the purple?

Hmmm I'm thinking about it and I'm not too sure on the highlights especially if your doing it yourself, I agree with alyx you should see a professional to get a corrector done.
