I have an eye doctor appointment tomorrow and was wondering if wearing mascara was okay or if it would be in the way?

You probably shouldn't, it could smear on your face when they're trying to check things out :) I wore mascara when I went in to get my contacts and it smeared all over the place.

It wasn't a problem for me just don't wear too much or anything that smudges super easily.

I probably wouldn't, just because to me that'll give them a reason to question you about whether the mascara you're wearing could be causing it, will probably tell you to throw it out or just ask that you stop wearing it. Idk, it's probably easier for them to have a good look without mascara on. :) lol.

Eh it has never given me a problem. Just only wear minimal waterproof mascara. I got to the eye doctor every month haha.

It's okay to wear eye makeup, however if you get eye drops your mascara or eyeliner may smudge, so I would recommend waterproof products.

I have never had problems and I have to get my eyes checked twice a year with an optometrist.

I agree with Shaye, the doctor may jump to the conclusion that the mascara may be causing it. Personally I wouldn't wear any, mostly because it isn't really necessary

I wear mascara all the time and my eye doctor is smart enough to know mascara wasn't causing my vision problems lol. It's fine to wear eye makeup

I myself is a doctor and I would advice you not to wear because sometimes you won't get to know the real fact of your problem and they end up in saying that it might be cz of mascara or liner..etc...but you should tell your evrything so that he getz a real conclusion...
