So this is my hair cut and it's a black/brownish with red and purple tones from past dye, I wanted to do it ombré but would It lol weird since it short? I feel ombré looks better on Long hair?

I think it look better on longer hair as well, but I mean it doesn't look bad if it's Balayage on short hair. (Which is a more subtle approach of the ombré)

Yeah I was looking into that, but the problem is that since I'm kinda tan I feel that a blonde would make me look darker?

Balayage is a freehand technique where the highlights are applied to look more natural. I think a transition to a light brown would look gorgeous!
