Helen of Troy. You can get it at Sally's. Your curl will maintain throughout the day. I mean i am biased because I already have twiested and tousels and i just happen to like a more uniformed look. But just Helen of Troy is high endish that is affordable. But if you would like even more drugstore the better ones are Conair Satin series. They will form goldilocks.

I would go with the Revlon pink pearl curling wand. It's like $21 and is incredible. It comes with a glove to protect your hand from the heat and the barrel is between 1/2-1 inch. You can create many different looks and it is absolutely foolproof. Plus, the curl stays until the second day even on the hardest to curl hair. It's my go to, I would totally recommend it :)
