I love swimming but when I go into the pool well for one my hair gets dryer out a lot and two I get these huge knots I tryed putting my hair up but it just makes it worse please help.

I coat my hair with a leave in conditioner and then French braid it tightly so it doesn't tangle.

I usually leave mine down and brush it right before and after I go swimming. It might help it you smooth and use your fingers to get out the knots underwater before it gets too bad. :)

Thoroughly rinse your hair with water from a shower before you swim so that the chlorine can't absorb into your hair as well
You can also put in some conditioner after you rinse your hair
I agree that I tight French braid will prevent tangles
You can also try a hair mask when you get out, I like the Macadamia one
Using a shampoo specially for swimmers can help remove the chlorine from your hair as well, which will help with dryness.
