Patients, then you can get your hair wet, add a little olive oil, put a towel around it for 20 mins then wash it like normal until its no longer oily.

Honestly,
There is no magical remedy that makes your hair grow faster. In fact, it's basically all due to genetics. However, keeping your hair healthy can benefit it and help it grow just a little bit as the more damaged the hair is the more chance of "stunted," for lack of better term, growth. Some tips I follow are:
1. Do t wash hair everyday. Let the naturals oils be on your hair and nourish your hair. I wash maybe twice a week and use just a squirt or two if dry shampoo in my hair.
2. Deep condition! I deep condition twice a month!
3. Argon oil is helpful: argon oil is super beneficial to the health of your hair. I get it to mine probably twice a week since I use it in the form of a styling oil!
4. Condition from ears down: conditioner can actually clog your hair follicles and hurt growth and health. Thicker products should be used in the same way. You should also be using only a small amount if both shampoo and conditioner as to not overload your poor hair!
5. Keep a healthy diet: a healthy diet is key to overall health in all aspects including appearance!
6. Avoid heat: avoid using heat tools as much as possible. If possible even avoid the hair dryer. I'm 3 years heat free and there are many other less harmful ways you can straighten and curl your hair! You can also dry your hair in front of a box fan so you arent in direct contact with a hot hair dryer. Also when you use heat use a heat protectant!
7. DONT ever and I mean EVER take a vitamin or supplement meant for hair growth (such as biotin) without your doctors permission. You can easily overload your body with vitamins and become very sick if you start to take them. These supplements should only really be taken by those with a defficeny and your doctor will be able to run blood tests and such to ensure that it is ok to take a supplement like biotin. Many people have had adverse reactions to those kinds if supplements that have even landed them I. The ER; so be careful with that stuff!
This is just some basic stuff. Again, a lot of it has to do with genetics and there really isn't anything you can do about that! :)
