After going for a consultation and researching the different kinds of "permanent," extensions I think I'm going to go with clip-ins. Which is the best kind? I've been looking at Luxy hair extensions, what's everyone's opinion on these or other human hair clip-ins?

That's so great to hear! My hair is pretty thick, would you recommend doing the 160 gram or 220 gram?

And I'm terrible at doing hair, how easy are they to apply?

I'd go for 220 if your hair is thick. they are pretty simple to apply but If you get stuck there's so many youtube tutorials and even on the luxy hair channel x

I own Bellami hair extensions and I love them...I'm wearing them in my profile pic for reference. I had luxy hair and I didn't really like them but to each their own :)

Thanks Andrea! I'm really too new at this so I love getting everyone's feedback. What made you not care for them if you don't mind me asking and why do you prefer Bellami?

I don't have a whole lot of experience with extensions. I had a set years ago and I don't remember the brand. Anyways, I was just going to mention that if you are planning to wear them often then you might consider tape extensions, just because if you are wearing the clip ins everyday, they can cause hair loss because they are in the same spot everyday. I think the Halo Extensions would be pretty awesome but that is just based on reviews, no personal experience.

Thanks Lisa! I recently got a really bad haircut that was supposed to be a trim...4 inches later haha that's why I asked about the extensions. The cut is cute it just wasn't what was planned. I don't think I'll wear them everyday but I appreciate that advice!
