So I'm going to be in a wedding in 2 weeks and I'm going to be doing my own makeup. I have black hair & the dresses are red, any suggestions or ideas?

Since it's a wedding, you don't really want to go with anything that's too dark or too bold. Try something like a light champagne color on the lid, and a mid tone brown or taupe in the crease. Put on some mascara and some eyeliner if you want. For the lips I recommend something a little on the lighter/softer side. Like maybe a dusty rose color or a light mauve. (A color close to MAC angel or peach blossom). Have fun at the wedding!

I agree with alison, a nice shimmery brown smokey eye with a light lip. gorgeous. not a red lip with a red dress though. the bottom left picture I like the most if you were using one of those pics as a reference.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind wearing a red lip with red dress.. especially with black hair, it can look very chic if done right. but usually not at weddings.
