Its not a lip stain so to speak but it doesn't budge. Hourglass Liquid Lip Rouge that dries down to a matte satin finish. I have it in the shade icon. A nice rich red that isnt too blue in undertone. Plus it doesn't suck the life out your lips in the moisture dept.

Stila Liquid Lipsticks are very nice. They aren't so matte that it makes your lips look dry.

If you want a long wearing lip color, I agree with Stila or Kat Von D liquid lipsticks.
If you want an actual stain you could use Revlon just bitten lip stains, Benetint, or one of my personal faves Tints and Sass lip and cheek stain.

KVD's liquid lipsticks stay on forever. They're matte and look amazing. I have one and it takes a ton of scrubbing to get it off lol.
I don't know if they still sell them but urban decay had a lip stain and they smell like vanilla and are very beautiful :)

Stila or Sephora!! They are almost identical in my opinion, but Sephora's is a tad cheaper. Kat Von D has great ones too.

I also like the Revlon Colorburst Lip Stains but they don't last through eating and drinking and for the whole night, while Stila, Sephora, and KVD's do.

Depends what sort of finish you're after. If it's just a subtle hint of red then I'd suggest Benetint.

This isn't a stain, but I've had incredible success with the Revlon super lustrous lipsticks. I'm an actress so I use these for stage makeup sometimes. They seriously last all act. I haven't tried to see if they last all show bc I usually touch up at intermission regardless of my lipsticks condition. But the color survives very well without being drying.
