So I've never owned an eyelash curler because my eyelashes are naturally really curly with an exception of some. For the ones that don't curl like the rest I was thinking of getting an eyelash curler but I once heard someone say that their eyelashes got cut off by an eyelash curler.. Can that actually happen?

I don't know I've never heard that before but my every eyelash curler I've ever gotten before looks great.

Its never happened to me.. but if your stressed just check what lind of eyelash curler your buying and see if it has a protective bend on the edge, it's usually not sharp at all... I've never heard this happen before...

It has never happened to me so I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure that it's most likely not going to happen.

No but make sure you don't apple too much pressure for a long amount of time

Applying too much pressure and tugging on the lashes as you curl them can lead to the lashes breaking and eventually falling out. Also, never curl your lashes when you've already applied mascara, the lashes tend to rip out because they're vulnerable with a coat of heavy mascara.

I doubt that could happen. Maybe possibly weaken the lashes. Maybe. But cut them off I don't see happening. I don't have a curler to recommend. I simply don't like to use and I have longer eye lashes so I'm scared to do anything much to them. But I know that there are good curlers to get versus not so great ones. But sorry I have no recommendations!

Yes it can happen if you press too hard.

Never had this happen. Heat it up for 10 to 15 second with a hair dryer let it cool for 3 seconds and then try again. You might like they said, be pressing to hard!

It can happen if the little pad come off and it can happen with super cheap curlers.

It can pull your eyelashes out and it takes a long time for them to grow back so...

It can happen if you use it after applying mascara or if the pad comes off or you don't clean it very well. Its never happened to me, and it shouldn't to you if you always make sure it clean and never use it after mascara (some people like to after it dries but personally I think that's too dangerous). :)

Yes this is definitely true...I had been using mine for a while and then one day it cut off my middle lashes....I didn't even realize until I started applying mascara...so it DOES happen but its pretty rare.My eyelashes are now grown back though.

My eyelash curler didn't cut my eyelashes off! But it did pull A LOT of them out!😁 So now I have pretty short eyelashes and I stopped using my eyelash curler, which really stinks for me because I have stick straight eyelashes and I'm not even kidding!😩😂

Most of the time it occurs because people forget to change the pad part of the curler. They can become hard and brittle from things like eyeliner getting on it. I like to touch the pad before I curl so that way I know that it can still be used :)
