Know that if youre scalp starts to hurt, you need to say something. Braids should be tight but not tight enough where you might get a headache. Tight braids like that can cause hair loss because it's a lot of strain on your hair itself. Human hair is your best bet when it comes to the type of hair, that way you can wash, color, and use heat on it without a problem really. Also after your braids are finished you should get your scalp oiled so that way your scalp retains moisture while being in such a style. Having a dry scalp isn't fun.

I usually get my hair online. I don't your price range but for starters if you go on youtube there are plenty of hair gurus who have reviewed hair that link up to the seller's site. I know the Virgin hair fantasy is good, or like princess hair shop is also popular but I'd look around.
