Thanks so much, Jackie! That was *kinda* my theory, didn't know I went that close to what you're saying. My theory was that they were saying NC is cool because it's more of a greenish neutral, NW is warm because it's more of a reddish neutral.
But this makes so much sense! Only thing is, my eyes will forever see a purplish red as cooler than an orangey red, it's just about the way it "feels", you know? But from an artist's point of view, I finally get it :D
