Maybe not blonde bc if you don't like it you have to wait a while to dye it back. I'm about to get caramel highlights in mine because my hair is very dark too and blonde and black are very large color differences. so maybe you should try like caramel or even honey first. but if you want blonde go for it!

I don't see how you plan to put extensions in your bangs because they would not blend what so ever, but you can try and mix it into your hair if you're into that look!

I used to do that with die, but I had brown hair. I loved it a lot :)

The only thing that might require actual dying instead of extension is your bangs as they're too thin and short to blend with extensions.
