In bangkok they have a sephora and a mac. I'd say bring your makeup with you, but you have a place to restock so don't worry. if you buy makeup outside of mac or sephor, be careful. have fun. thailand has THE MOST amazing beaches enjoy!

I live in china and there isnt anything where I live near my shade. its all white whiter and whitest lol and LOTS of skin whiteners, BUT bangkok has A LOT more western stores than where I live and I was able to find my perfect shade and even darker shades at both sephora and mac.

I have been to Thailand for vacation. And the place is awesome. Well, in terms of makeup, there are lots of it in there. You can bring your collections. They're westernize too so finding foundations or what not won't be hard to find in shopping malls esp in Bangkok.Also, Thai people can speak english not fluent but better than other neighboring countries. Even kids can. I was really surprised. When in terms of skincare, yes they do sell more whiteners. All Asians do. Including my homeland Philippines. Lol. But don't worry. Just go to shopping malls and you'll find one. Also, read the content.
Places to go: try to go to Phuket cos they haven really nice beaches and good local foods. In Bangkok, go to night market and haggle hard. You'll find a dress for only 120cor less thai bhat or equivalent to $3 max. Then visit their historic places like Buddhist temples. And if you have money, it's good to buy gems like emeralds and rubies for a cheaper price. That's if you like jewelries. And you can try the elephant ride, fish spa and thai massage.
And always wear sunscreen as it is warm and humid there. Goodluck.
