So I have really thick long hair and I mostly just curl it or straighten it but I need something new for the new school year any ideas??

Braids braids braids!!
French braids are always good. I always do mine starting at the right side and going diagonal down my head.
Fishtail pigtails are always cute. They take a while to do though.
Try a braided headband! Take a piece from the side of your head by your ear, braid it, bring it over your head and the other braid to form a headband! Secure with bobby pins.
