I can't tell either, but if you're not confident that you look good, that's all people will see. I am fair with freckles and I feel like a clown in red lipstick too! So I try to take risks that are out of my comfort zone, but still make me feel beautiful. Just a lesson learned after years of mags and sites claiming to me "there's a red lip for everyone!". Not out of the 100 I've tried:( Lol!

The light is weird so it's hard to tell the undertone of the red, you know? I agree that a more blue based red would probably suit you, but again the lighting makes it hard to tell. All that said, you don't look happy in your pic. :(
So either way I don't think YOU like this red on yourself. Red lipstick should make you feel AWESOME! Fierce! Rock n roll! Not meh.
Why don't you go to M.A.C and try on Russian Red and see how you feel wearing that. Don't buy! Just try.
