Nothing can make your hair grow

You can't make it grow, but you can do some masks to keep it healthy which can help growth I guess. I do olive oil and coconut oil masks and leave them in for 30 minutes to an hour. Works wonders for my hair! There are a lot of others you can try, like egg whites, avocado, but I haven't tried them yet. But I've heard good things :)

Hair growth is based on genetics, the health of you & your hair. so the only way to promote growth is to keep yourself & your hair in good health.

Do not just go taking pills (including biotin). You can end up with side effects serious enough to put you in the hospital. always ask your doctor first.

Some tips to promote growth:
get trims regularly (split ends will go higher up the longer you wait & then you'll have to cut off more hair)
drink a lot of water
use as little heat as possible
always use a heat protectant, I recommend It's a 10
don't brush your hair while it's wet
do hot oil treatments (I use coconut oil)
use a deep conditioner (I use Aussie 3 minute miracle)
use hair masks (store bought or diy)
try a leave in conditioner

keep in mind that there are no miracle products or methods. good luck in growing your hair! :)

These ladies are absolutely correct. I want to add that healthy hair starts inside: a balanced diet with proper nutrition is really important. Stay hydrated as well. DO NOT take any sort of supplement without first speaking to your doctor. Those "hair, skin, and nail" vitamins can cause side effects ranging from acne to serious liver and other systemic failures. Focus on eating healthy rather than popping mystery pills.

On the outside, avoid tightly pulled styles that can cause breakage. Make sure you get trims regularly to cull split ends before they travel up the hair shaft and cause more damage. Use conditioning treatments to keep it soft and manageable. Avoid heat styling as much as possible, as well as chemical processing (dyeing, bleaching, relaxing, perming, etc.). Some people even sleep on satin pillowcases to avoid friction on their hair (they also sell satin hair caps that accomplish the same thing).
