Should I get Balayage or highlights?

Hey guys! So my hair is dead straight and blonde, but I'm planning on making it blonder, and I'm not sure what to do. I'm going to get it done professionally, and I want it to look natural. Do you think I should go with balayage or highlights or should I just leave it? All help appreciated! Thanks x
