What's your opinion on waterproof mascara?

I believe wearing mascaras on a daily basis (waterproof or not) can make your eyelashes quite dry.so maybe you should avoid wearing mascara this often ^^

Only wear it when you know you will get wet. Like pool or sad movie or beach because when you try to take it off with make up remover it rips out your eyelashes.

Tbh I've been wearing waterproof mascara since I started using makeup so about 3 years. I wear contacts and I noticed that normal mascara lets tiny bits fall into my eyes at the end of the day meaning I'd have to remove my contacts. also waterproof mascara helps keep my lashes curled all day. any mascara can make your lashes brittle so I try to use mascara as little as possible. I take a break from any makeup on holidays summer and weekends and condition my lashes.

It depends on the quality of the mascara. I've found that the cheaper( like the $1 ones) brands of waterproof mascara causes my lashes to be crunchy and fall out unlike brands that are a little better in quality. And also coconut oil pretty much melts off waterproof makeup :) I wear waterproof products on a daily basis because I live in a slightly more humid climate

I use water proof drugstore mascara all the time and I've never had an issues with it. I tend to wear it daily during the school year and it's amazing. Just make sure to completely remove it from your lashes and not to wear mascara if you don't need to!

I use water proof mascara and I really like it because it holds a curl and it doesn't smudge during gym or school but to remove it your makeup remover has to be oil based or else you will just spend a long time trying to get it off

Waterproof mascara definitely holds but it's always a pain to take off without ripping your lashes off. So definitely invest in a good makeup remover. Just do not sleep in it! I did that once and oh my lord my lashes were a mess and it was horrible to take off.

My personal preference of water-proof mascara is maybeline one by one volum' express waterproof. If you want to wear mascara every day then use some that have minerals that help protect, heal, and lengthen lashes. Or another alternative is if you have dark lashes already you can purchase a clear mascara and apply it daily (also use for unruly eyebrows)!

I occasionally use waterproof mascara. What I've learned is DON't wear it everyday. It will kill your lashes. If you must , when you take it off at night I recomend a liquid eye makeup remover. It really takes it off , and very gently so you won't lose lashes in the process.

I never have a problem taking off waterproof mascara, and I just use makeup remover wipes.. If you do wear it everyday, which I think is completely fine, I would suggest conditioning your lashes with coconut or olive oil at night to keep them from getting dried out and brittle.

I have heard it's not good for lashes, but I wear waterproof mascara whenever I wear makeup, and I haven't noticed any significant problems w/my lashes. I do reccomend using gentle, but good quality waterproof makeup remover as well. I also like to condition my lashes w/Vaseline before bed.
