No it shouldn't. If you were wanting a warm tone that wasn't blonde then it would kind of take that out a bit but nothing major.

Nope! I asked my hairdresser the same thing because I used it when I had an ombré. It just takes the brassy colors out of the blonde!

If you have any yellow or orange tones in your hair that you don't want... The. Use the purple shampoo. If not, then there is no need. It won't damage your hair or anything, it's just not necessary.
