I've been told that you should be using a product for about a month to see effects due to cell turnover.
The best thing you can do for your skin is to avoid chopping and changing your skincare to often. Since switching to a set regime I've personally noticed my skin is a lot better.
Personally though in regards to products I quite like Clinique's Spot Clearing Gel for when I get the occasional spot.

You shouldn't switch every two weeks. Some medications take up to 12 weeks to start working. I know it's hard but patience is key. Your acne won't be cured over night. Acne sucks, but everyone on here is really helpful and supportive. So don't worry, it'll get better. Go consult your doctor or dermatologist and see if they can prescribe a medication that'll work for you.

Like they said, you should give a product at least a month before you should expect a real change, unless it is a spot treatment which might take a week or so (at least for me.) Find a product that has good reviews and is meant for your skin type, then stick with it!

Find products and stick to it if you don't give it enough time you won't know if it works also drink lots of water never forget to wash off your makeup and change your pillow cases often
