I have very dark brown hair and want to go abit lighter naturally,if I use shampoo for blonde hair will it damage my hair in anyway? Will it lighten it at all?

There is no shampoo that will lighten your hair. Shampoo made for blonde hair usually has toners to keep blondes less brassy or some type of strengthening ingredient. The sun naturally lightens, but that takes time. Good luck!

I have dark brown to a strawberry blonde ombre and I use the Paul Mitchell dark blonde shampoo on the bottom and it does not lighten it whatsoever if anything like Ashley said might tone it a little bit but it won't make a difference on your hair color.
