Hair Dye Help!

So I've been wanting to dye my hair a light golden brown or caramel color but I don't know if it would suit me other than that if there's any hair dyes that would work on my hair since getting it done in a hair salon is pretty expensive. I have dark brown hair with a red tint in it. down below is a picture of me I'm also posting two pictures of what color I was thinking of doing it. :)

I think darker colors are better for you but if you want to try a lighter color, by all means go for it!
