I've tried on liquid eyeliner for the first time before (I've been /trying/ to wear make up for almost a whole week now) and I got Maybelline Master Precise by EyeStudio in black and it honestly feels like it's dry. what are other drug store liquid eyeliners that actually work pretty well?

also any tips on how I should do my eyes? any tutorials? I kinda free handed it and it came out pretty bad lol

Hey Michelle. I personally like 'collections fast stroke'. Or you could try a felt tip eyeliner, may I suggest ' benifits push up liner'. But that is a bit pricey, and because your new to makeup you Proberbly won't want to be spending a lot of money on a eyeliner. So a cheaper version is maybelline eye studio master drama eyeliner.
Also if you have been wearing makeup for a week don't expect to be amazing at it. Makeup is one of them things where you will try and fail try again and fail. But you have to keep trying and I suggest watching videos on YouTube. There are so many beauty gurus like zoella , velvetg0st, Tanya burr, sprinkle offline rand many many more. They all have AMAZING tips and I think you will enjoy watching them. But keep trying at makeup. Don't give up. I have been doing makeup for 2 and a half years not. And I still can't do things I still need practise. So keep trying and don't give up. Good luck xxx

Keep trying! Liquid is hard to get at first. The only thing I would say, besides practice, is go in again with the brush and get it closer to your lashes. Not bad for a first try! (:

Milani eye tech felt tip eyeliners are very easy to use , as well as Annabelle felt tip, affordable and user friendly! You have to be patient girl we've all been beginners! I find it helps to use my pinky as an anchor and use little strokes instead of trying to make a perfect line, also use your lower lash line as a guide to where your line should be when doing a wing, the wing should start where your lower lash line would be continuing up (imagine a line from lower outer lash line to brow) should help you get the perfect shape!
