Using diys to lighten hair isn't the best idea, it'll more than likely lighten your hair unevenly & make it brassy & orange.

Do you have any experience kat? or friends? because honey can be used in hair masks too..So I didnt think it would be a bad thing.

You can try it, it doesn't damage your hair at all but for me it didn't lighten my hair at all.

No ma'am. I'm not saying it's damaging, just that diys aren't the best options for lightening in general, especially if you have darker hair.

I always use honey in hair masks with oils. In my opinion, if you are attempting to lighten your hair with honey... You're going to be waiting a VERY long time lol.

Putting a good amount of honey in your conditioner will also help the lighting process, it's not so much of a leave in process but the hair gets the properties of the honey in your hair washing process. And you can also use the hair mask of olive oil and honey.
Some natural things like lemon are said to lighten up in general but with the process if the sun can cause huge damage due to the acidity causing split ends, dried hair, etc.
