I want to dye my hair and I've never fully dyed it before and I want to go what I'd call a cherry coke color any suggestions on best box dyes?

Schwartzkopf 'shake It Up' has a red colour which I think is what you're talking about:) I'd check on the website.

John freida hair dyes are honestly one of thee best drugstore dyes! Along with his shampoos, conditioners and his serums! I'm not quite sure what colour cherry coke is because I don't drink soft drinks, but I'm assuming it's a dark red. So, maybe this will meet you're thought of colour;

If you have dark hair I suggest going to Sally's and getting their loreal excellence Hicolor for dark hair only. And then choose your color. I'm sure they will have it /)

Only use the hicolor if you have naturally DARK HAIR. I used it on my hair when it was a level 5 with previous red dye on it and I came out flaming primary color red.

I have had great success with dying my hair with Paul Mitchell the color brand dye. You'll probably have to buy on Amazon and it may be a touch more expensive than drugstore or sallys brands but it definitely pays off in quality. I'm a diehard 5vr with extra violet and blue color shots added.
