So this is my first attempt at DIY French Tips. I feel like it's not terrible, but there is definitely room for improvement haha

I used those little colored dots (for like garage sales and stuff), but it didn't stick too well to my nail.

1) What could I use instead of those dots?
2) Any tips/constructive criticism for me?
3) Any other helpful input!

Thanks in advance! <3

They have French tip kits at CVS for $11. They work amazingly but it has the stuff you'll find in a salon. The brush, powder, long fake nails to cut etc. I'm not sure if that's what your looking for.

Use a q-tip dipped in nail polish remover to clean up the edge

You can also use hole reinforcers (they're for putting around hole-punched holes so they don't rip - usually come in multicolored packs in any stationary aisle any store like target).

No, Mari, I'm more looking for a template to do my own nails with regular polish. Thanks, though :)

Alexis, do you mean just regular ole Scotch tape?

Sally Hansen has these nail art pens that make French manicures so easy and you can also use them for other nail art purposes :)
