So I have red hair, but I want to dye my hair either a bright brown or ash blonde. Do you recommend me using a color remover and if so, what brand and where can I purchase this? Or if I don't need a color remover, what hair dye would you recommend that will give me that bright brown or ash blonde color I want. I'd appreciate it if you give me some brand hair dye names (:

Since you have red hair you definitely need a color remover. If you don't rid your hair of the red, youll come out with really orange hair especially since you want lighter hair. The best hair color remover I'd suggest is color oops and you can get it from like cvs or walgreens and I know its like $10-$13

Be careful with that stuff it's really damaging and will leave your hair patchy, meaning if you lighten it after it will be patchy too.
