I have never used a hair mask but Putting my regular deep conditioner in my hair and putting it up for a while then rinsing it out makes it more soft.. Also something that is a little harder for me to get out that I do that with is extra virgin olive oil!

I'm not too sure about masks, but Joico's K-Pak Intense Hydrator is an amazing conditioner treatment. :)

I second the organix Macadamia mask, I love it! And I know you said you'd prefer no diy, but have you tried coconut oil? I mix it with bananas about once a month and I also love it. (I use the macadamia one weekly, and the diy once a month) my hair has grown inches and feels more hydrated than ever. Good luck <3.

The Macadamia Deep Repair Mask is the only one that has ever actually made a difference in my hair. and I've tried lots of masks. Only bad thing about it is its so expensive!
