I say go for it. Have you tried doing faux Bettie bangs just to get an idea of what you would look like? You could always try that before cutting your hair. See how it makes you feel before committing. The only thing I hate about those bangs is the weird growing phase. If you want to do it, I say go for it.

I am recently growing out my Bettie bangs, but I loved them when I had them! I'd say go for it, but keep in mind that they require work everyday :) but that shouldn't be a problem if you already spend lots of time on your hair in the morning!
