I always sleep with braids in so it's wavy when I wake up but it dies down in a couple of hours. Is there any spray that will hold my hair the whole day and not leave it hard?

Tresseme (not sure if I spelled that correct) has amazing hairspray. There hold good up to five which makes my hair rock hard if I use too much. And it's only $4.
