I heard you can soak the tube (closed of course) in hot water for a few minutes and it helps if it's dried out.

Drop or two of contact solution/eyedrops.

Drop about two drops of saline solution into the tube and mix it up :) heat will help aswell of course

I heat olive oil works but only w tiny bit. If your mascara is dried up though it is probably old and should be thrown away because they pick up so much bacteria!

Eye drops or oils are the best, but to keep it sanitary, mascara should be thrown away every 3-6 months because of how many germs grow easily in the small tube!
