I'm assuming the extra thing free is the quality that makes it vegan haha. Julep is a good brand though. From what I remember they are water based, safe to use while pregnant but chip easily because they are water based.

Haha thanks Courtney I actually really like julep polish, it lasts the longest on my nails than other brands if I use a good top coat and the texture and shades are gorgeous :)

I'm a Julep addict! Even without a top or bottom coat, I can often get a manicure to last nearly a week. And they have so many beautiful colors to choose from! I often do a manicure with a different color on each finger. It looks fun and edgy at the same time; I always get compliments.

Awe lucky. My nails are soo naturally oily that any polish just peels off within 24 hours if I don't use a good top coat or base.

I've heard that wiping your nails with a bit of white vinegar before applying the polish will help clean off any excess oil and help your polish stay on longer.

I've tried that :( I've even bought the drying agent for gel and acrylics, and that doesn't help either. When I get gel or acrylics within two days most of my nails popped off. That's why I started painting my own nails, I'm not going to waste $96 anymore lol.
