Face primer for eyeshadow primer.

Was wondering if there's any difference with using face primer as an eye primer.

I've always used it and it's worked out fine throughout the day.

Just wanted to hear your suggestions and comments.

I can only go by the two that I've used. my face primer is a lot thinner than the eye primer. I have the Laura Geller face spackle and it feels like a moisturizer.
my eye primer is from Avon and the consistency is more like a concealer.
I'm sure there's no problem using face primer on the eyes.

I agree with Alexis. I also know some makeup ingredients are safe for the face but not eyes, and I don't know if face primers include any of those ingredients.

I find I face primer on the face won't hold shadow good. Itll fade or smudge

From my experience the face primer is like slik on the face and does not harden or anything but instead creats a hard surface and all the eye primers I have tend to be of a thicker consistency and get tacky for the shadow to stick but this is my opinion

Correction
I find face primer on the eyes dosent hold the shadow as well as eye primer. srry I dunno was up with my phone
