Hello. I used to self harm. Used to; meaning I no longer cut. As a result I have a couple of scars. Which I usually cover up with makeup. I was wondering how I can make scars fade? I would be greatful if someone actually took the time to answer my question.

First of all: I am so happy you stopped beautiful 😘
Second: just moisturize them and try to make sure that there won't be a wound at that exact same spot any time soon because that will slow down the progress. But the scars will fade over time. If you don't want anyone to see them, or don't want to be reminded yourself you could use the Kat von D tattoo coverage consealer. This stuff works amazing and will stay in all day! :)

It's so amazing that you've overcome that. If you ever need support, I would be more than happy to try and help. I'm sure most of the other girls on here would be as well.
But as for covering/treating the scars, just keep them moisturized. After time they will start to fade. There are a few creams that are specifically made to target scars. I would look into those. :)

I'm so glad you stopoed Love, you're so beautiful :) Bio oil helps treat scars and I've heard cocoa butter helps as well. Until they fade completely, I'd recommend the concealer that @Isabel mentioned or Kat Von D Tattoo foundation :) If those are too expensive, I suggest Covergirls Trublend Fixstick :) I hope I helped some, and if you ever need to talk I'm here! :) Xx

Good job for stopping! I personally have a few scars too and I use scar fading sheets. They've reduced the puffiness of the scar and the redness too.

I am so happy you have stopped! If you ever need any one to talk to or anyone to just dump a whole load a crap on...I'll always be here for you! 😘
As for helping get rid of your scars...make sure to keep them moisturize. Me seems, bio oil, vitamin e oil, palmers cocoa butter, vitamin c serum, exfoliating (a chemical one would work best), milk rice soap, rose hip oil, squalene oil, clyndamcin wipes, coconut oil, aloe vera, sudo cream, shea butter, and retin-a cream are all things that can help remove scars. If you need help concealing them you can always use Kat Von D Tatoo Lock-it concealer like Isabel suggested or for a cheaper alternative you could use Hardy Candy's Glamouflage concealer.
Good luck Adriana!!
