So I have oily/combo skin.. It gets really dry around my nose. I've tried a lot of oil free washes and even tried rodan and fields most recently. The rodan and fields really breaks me out, mainly on my chin and right around my nose. What are your suggestions for a regimen I can start to implement? I really want my nice skin I used to have back!

Thanks for the info... I'll have to check out the tarte.. And yes, I do. Because my skin is sensitive I only do it a few times a week but maybe I should do it more often. I just didn't want it to make my skin worse, but I'll give it a shot. Thank you!

When you exfoliate, do you use a scrub or chemical exfoliant? I have oily/combo skin too, and I switch out my exfoliants every so often. I normally use a scrub (Body Shop: Vitamin C Microfoliant) and then switch it out once a week (I exfoliate twice a week) with a chemical exfoliant (Mario Badescu's Glycolic Foaming Cleanser). Glycolic acid is a great exfoliating agent, and is really good for oily or congested skin as it helps to remove build up on the skin and promote cell turnover while being more gentle than a scrub. Another good thing to remember is this: When you do exfoliate you are removing dead skin, and though this is a good thing your skin can take a bit of a beating so it's good to replenish the skin afterwards with a good moisturizer. If you're having issues around your nose with dry patches, I would suggest concentrating the moisturizer on those areas and then feathering it out on more oily areas. Anyways, that's just my two cents. Hope it helps :)
