You can also try a moisturizing oil made for sensitive skin like jojoba oil - in the winter my skin drinks that stuff up and also maracuja oil helps with my psoriasis too.

For very dry skin, you can try Niva Creme. It's a pudding-thick moisturizer with nourishing vitamin B5 and glycerin that sinks directly into parched skin instead of sitting on top of it, like many other creams do. And it's cheap.
