Working at MAC?

Despite how poorly treated I usually am at their stores, I have an interest in working there. I am currently 16, and have a big passion for all things makeup. But then I always wonder if working there is worth it.
Anyone know how working there is like? Is it worth it? And how did/do you work your way up?
