All I know is my grandparents have to take them and they have a gross smell. I saw some videos awhile back about people rubbing the gel that's on the inside of them into their bums and it made their butt get bigger? Lol. I don't know if that's true. I was on the wonderful world of YouTube, I always start off watching one thing and ending up on something totally different lol.

It doesn't help hair growth, it can promote hair healthiness though. But don't take any pills without taking a blood test and talking to your doctor to see if you're deficient. I take krill oil pills, its still omega 3, because I have dry eyes and get dehydrated easily but I don't eat seafood (main source of omega 3's) and they help maintain water and lessen the rate of dehydrated. They smell awful, and for a few hours afterwards you get a gross horrible fishy aftertaste. Just eat more salmon instead lol.

Yeah they're for heart health and they give you Omega 3 fatty acids which is good for you if you need them. I think if your body is healthy, your hair is healthy.
