So one of my new years resolutions was to try and put effort into my appearance more since honestly I usually just throw on eyebrows and sweats before leaving. I work at a grocery store (wegmans in upstate NY). We're always super busy and I have short hair so my customers often call me sir thinking that I'm a man! my confidence has gone way down and I wanted to know if anybody had any makeup ideas for me to look more feminine. Our uniform is a polo shirt (I have light purple, white, and maroon ones), and khakis, black pants, grey pants or navy. Any help is appreciated!

Honey you're actually beautiful, and the people who said that to you must be blind. try contouring and a bold lip colour. It'll help raise your confidence and surely catch the eyes of many others xx

Is the polo shirt you wear a woman's cut? It would be more flattering on you and show that you've got a shape, rather than a boxy men's tee. I agree with the suggestions above on the makeup. Not sure how far you wanna take it, but what about the stereotypical long nails and wearing jewelry? You're lovely regardless; people just need to start compartmentalizing and get over it! And I agree - short hair is soooo much more versatile! Rock whatchu got! ;-)

Lol you don't even look like a guy. Well, I would try giving yourself a soft, girly makeup look with bold brows, a shimmery champagne eyeshadow with winged eyeliner, rosy cheeks, and a pink lippie. With your uniform I would just try looking as put together and polished as possible. Wear a dainty necklace and bracelet.

You're beautiful, first of all. No matter what. But to help you out, rock your short hair by show casing some chunky earrings! Antique looking studs are so cute with shorter hair, I feel it looks so classy. A bold lip colour and maybe defining your cheek bones could be more than enough to get your confidence up while not being too time consuming.

You are beaaaaautiful! People are ignorant, so don't feel like you need to change yourself to better fit into someone else's box!
I'm not sure the strictness of your uniform, but I would try out maybe tucking in your polo and wearing a belt to help show your feminine body. A simple earring would be lovely too. And I think that mascara goes a loooooong way, along with a blush and lip color or even a glossy lip balm. I would carry these three small things with you to refresh throughout the day! You don't even have to carry the mascara if you don't want to, either.

I'm sorry to hear that, and having a boyish uniform and short hair never helps but people are silly. The most feminine thing that I find easiest to do is long lashes and some lipgloss. Perhaps you can try practicing with some falsies until you get them down, they make a world of a difference and don't require touch ups.
