Kathryn, I jus lightly brushed my Mac mineralized skin finish in medium deep over my foundation. That's just what I normally use, but just a very thin layer. I seen on a discussion on Jill's post that you mentioned finding a setting powder that won't cause a white cast. Not sure if the Mac mineralized skin finish is any help or the right product but it's never caused a white cast for me. I normally get my white cast under my eyes and I was wondering if it was my concealer or under eye setting powder. I normally use Mac prolong wear and banana setting powder but still get the white cast in flash photos:( but Jackie just posted a great post about application that can cause a white cast back on Jill's post. It was very helpful
