It's winter time... CHAPPED LIPS! Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions? I've tried everything! From diy's to deep moisturizing lip balms.

Oh my! You don't know how many times I've been told that by doctors and everyone else! But for other things like back pains. I never thought of drinking water for chapped lips! I definitely do need to drink more water though, my current amount daily is like one cup! Yikes.

Do a lip scrub! Olive oil and sugar work wonders on super chapped lips.

Drink plenty of water. To only drink one cup a day is awful for your body. Make yourself a homemade lip scrib with sugar, honey, cinnamon, and olive oil or coconut oil. Rub the mixture over your lips and then rinse it off. This is so you get rid of the dead, dry skin on your lips and it also allows blood to rush to your lips which will repair your lips. Use a lip balm with moisturizing a repairing ingredients such as shea butter, mango butter, coconut oil, almond oil, soybean oil, or Vitamin E oil. I recommend you use Burts Bees lip balms because they contain ingredients like this. I'm currently using the Burts Bees Honey Lip Balm and I love it. Always keep a lip balm with you and whenever you get the urge to lick your lips, or you get the feeling your lips are dry, put the lip balm on.
Make sure to use the lip scrub at least 3 times a week.
Good luck! :)

Use a lip scrub (I like the ones from lush but that's just me) afterwards apply lip chap (eos is my fav) then let it sit and after a couple times they will be soft! Works for me like a charm.

My lifesaver with chapped lips (and small cuts and bruises and actually so much mor stuff) is definitely the Lucas papaw ointment. and a homemade lip scrub with sugar, honey and coconut oil is a great weekly treatment.
