Well hair chemicals are bad for anything really, I would think they'd be more drying than oily so i would say that's false

Do you mean hair spray or hair dye? Because hair PRODUCTS (eg. Hair spray, conditioner, serums) will/can cause breakouts. Hair bleach, dyes, perm chemicals etc. can/will cause drying, rashes, and burns.

Depends on how sensitive your skin is to synthetic chemicals. I get cystic acne if I use ANYTHING synthetic, so even shampoo & conditioner running down my face in the shower will cause me to break out. Same for hairspray, styling products, etc, if they run while I'm rinsing them out or if I transfer them to my face when applying them.

You hair is made of keratin, a protein, and wants hydration like your face, but your face is made of layers and pores and nerve endings and blood vessels, and it's really much more complicated than your hair. I think that's why most hair products contain synthetic chemicals, because it's keratin and they can get away with it. It's not so simple with your skin, though, your skin really just wants to be able to clean itself out and hold in hydration and absorb vitamins and feel some sun once and a while.
So really unless your hair products are just olive oil, honey, avocados, egg whites, or stuff along those lines, yes, hair chemicals are pretty bad for your face, especially because our face are the most sensitive skin on our bodies.
