Is there a specific time to use it in your makeup routine? I usually use it right after applying liquid foundation for the matte look, but I'm finding I'm still pretty oily mid day and it looks very cakey. Should I try just applying it in the afternoon when I notice the oilyness?

Here's the thing about that powder...it's an HD powder, so it's designed for photography and being on screen. I personally wouldn't recommend it for everyday use, because it's not really a blotting/oil absorbing powder. If you're looking for a mattifying powder, I recommend the Coty Airspun Powder, which is super el cheapo at CVS, but it works really nicely at keeping my face matte.

Oh I didn't know that about it! Could it be aiding to my oily skin?! I just love the matte finish without changing my foundation colour. I definitely don't have that product accessible to me, that you recommended so do you have something else possibly from like Sephora to use?

From Sephora, I really like the Tarte setting powder, it's really nice. That's just me though, and I don't wear face makeup usually, but I really like that one =)
