I love greens. khaki's and olives jazz up neutrals. also purples are great for brown eyes. if she is nervous of full on colour to lids then a swipe of coloured eye liners can make them pop without going full on

I think navies, blues and purples look great, maybe even some fuchias too! Doing a smokey eye is nice, dark or neutral- but the liner option is great, like what Sarah said. <3

I forgot about navy! I have a stila convertable colour in navy and its an amazing switch up from black liner. makes your eyes look brighter and whiter. I like to use navy throught the day. like black effect but a little more subtle

Blue and red eyeshadows aren't flattering are nearly anyone. People associate blue eyeshadow with "bad" makeup and it looks too pre-teen. Red shadows bring out the redness in eyes and looks unnatural.
