Smokey eyes during the day?

I see tons of people acting like its a crime to do bold smokey eyes during the day! How do you feel about it? Do you do smokey eyes for daytime? Or not?

i do sometimes depending on how much time i have. i like to play around with my makeup so i end up doing a lot of bold looks. and people usually compliment my eyes so i never have a problem with it.

I wear what I want when I want. haha I think it just depends on how dark you go. Light grays, browns or colored are very good for the day. I think if it's full on black, the way it hits the light might make you look like you've been punch or it's over done. Really that's what it's about, making sure the makeup looks good with the right lighting to set it off. People and their fashion rules are no fun!

HELL EFFING YES.

I do smokey eyes (grey, brown, black, doesn't matter to me). I do bright eyes. I do turquoise lips (see: profile picture). I will do wearable and "unwearable" during the day, no problem.

It's your face, so why not? I like to play around with my makeup when I have the time. Most days I'm running to work and I don't do much with my eyes, but on my days off I'll wear anything at any time. I've also worn quite a few smoky/bold looks to work and usually end up getting compliments on them. I see makeup as a way to get creative and enjoy myself, so anything I'm feeling down for is good =)

Yep...I do my eyes depending on my mood. Sometimes it neutral, sometimes pastels, and yes sometimes its smokey. I don't really buy into all this day/night rules. I wear what I want...if someone gives you crap about wearing too much, just say sorry, I don't thin you're wearing enough!!

I definitely wear smokey eyes when I want, especially during the day! But I would suggest a brown, bronze, or gold instead of black it's more day friendly!

nope it is not a crime lol its makeup you should have fun. but I don't think anyone should have Smokey eyes and a bold lip color at the same time
