I rarely post, but I need your help, pretty people! I've never used any brow products before, but it seems a fair number of people on here do. Can someone please explain the basics of it to me? I have no idea what the difference is between pencils, gels, etc. My brows are thick and dark, but my left eyebrow doesn't look like my right (the right looks more natural). I would like them to look more even, but not in an unnatural/fake way. Are there any products you recommend for black eyebrows? Based on my picture, excuse my skin and the lack of make up :( , where specifically would I apply the product? Also, this may be a silly question, but what is the likelihood that I'll wipe off the part that I filled in? I'm afraid of looking in the mirror at the end of the day and seeing a black smudge on the side of my cheek :P I appreciate any help. Thanks so much! :) :) :)

Honestly you have very pretty eyebrows already. No need to use products when your brows look like yours girl!

I agree with Brittany and Alexis. Maybe you could use a gel or something to keep them in place all day but it honestly seems like a waste of money because your eyebrows are great naturally.

I use the nyx eyebrow cake powder in black and grey (ulta has a sell buy 1 for 5$ gt the 2nd half off, so I'm stocking up lol) buut I have super light brows so I need to do a lot of outlining and filling. I feel like a powder gives me a more a more natural looking brow and when I use just a pencil it can look to harsh and bold on me. However I do use a pencil sometimes to outline, shape and fill the arch and the light powder on the NYX brow cake to fill the beginning. You however have super nice brow and don't need much. You did say that there are some areas you'd like to fill in and for tht you could try ither the nyx powder or nyx brow pencil, try both and which ever gives you the look you like stick.with that one. So that you don't rub it off get a primer. The primer I absolutely love is the Urban Decay primer potion, it keeps my eyebrow powder in place longer and smudge proof.

Ladies- thank you soo much for the help! You're all very sweet :) I honestly appreciate your different perspectives because I grew up believing I had the ugliest eyebrows (I was teased a lot about them when I was younger and thick eyebrows weren't the trend). I'm still very self concious, but you've all made me feel better about it :)

M G- Thanks for the advice! :) I hadn't thought of using primer but that makes sense. I'll check out the nyx cake powder!

Ms L- Thanks for the suggestion! I've only heard great things about Anastasia brow products

I would use brow powder maybe just to shape it alittle to make it more similar to the other one. if you apply gel over it, it will help last longer(:
