Just so you know, reposts aren't allowed on BL. But to answer your question, a purple/blue shampoo or conditioner is used to cancel out any brassiness. Use it once or twice a month or whenever needed. :)

Just so YOU know, they are decently hours apart for starters, and secondly they're not the same question if you read. The first question was how to maintain ashy hair and this question obviously is how to cancel out redness in hair. Now I don't know why you feel the need to be post police on here, but it's just rude and unnecessary and truly I don't think either if my posts bothered anyone too much, we'll all live but you just kinda look rude now. So thanks I guess? Your comment was just so unnecessary since it was so incorrect since I didn't post the same question, they're along the same topic but definitely not a repost. So read before you reply next time, okay.

@Jenna L. I don't think Alyx was coming off in a rude way at all. She simply gave you rules and even offered an answer. Your response on the other hand was unnecessary. She was simply offering her advice which the moderators have told people to spread the word of rules in this site.
Going along with her, I do believe a purple shampoo should do the trick.

Wasn't being rude. Just don't appreciate people trying to act like police about posts when I followed the guidelines.

That was really rude and uncalled for. I didn't say anything rude, I was just telling you that it's not allowed as you may not of known. If someone is smoking in a non smoking area but don't know, and someone other than security tells them they can't smoke, is that considered rude?
Your last question was "how do I keep my hair ashy with no brassy tones/how do I cancel out red" which is the same thing.
Posting several threads with the same question (or very similar questions, as you can ask more than one question per thread) pushes other people's threads down and leaves theirs unseen or unanswered and then leads to more reposts, and more unseen threads. The moderators appreciate when other people spread the rules around, as they don't always see each thread and they can be busy. If your post gets no answers after several DAYS, not hours, then delete the original thread and repost using better wording if possible to clarify your question. If people don't know, they won't answer. But sometimes it takes 3-4 days for the right people to see your thread and comment. (You can see several posts that were posted 24+ hours ago suddenly get 10 replies because the group of people that are knowledgeable on the subject saw it.)
But anyways. Purple shampoo will cancel out orange and redness. You're welcome, by the way, for spending my time reading and replying to you. Please remember everyone on here are just like you, they're just humans who joined because they like beauty and want to help out when people have questions. When you're rude, people will answer you less and less, even if they know the answer.

I answered this question for you on your last thread with a similar answer as Alyx. 👌
