My hair is a rather dull black! I'm looking to add more dimension to it buuut Cherry and blue black don't appeal to me. Are their any other tones of black dyes? Anything unique? Odd concoctions to make a magical cool black toned dye!? Please and thank youu💕

What about those deep, dark purples and violets? Those would look well with black.
I don't have any brand suggestions, but that was the only other color I could think of.

Ooooh yes! Thanks Maria. I've been skimming good for real blacks and purple blacks. I found a picture of this girl wearing a wig.. My gosh! The color is so gorgeous!

I have no idea how I'd achieve such a color! That's such a pretty color Erin. If the teal black is too much work I think purple would be my other choice.

Check out manic panics raven. It's a green based black. If you don't like that, you could buy a teal and put it over your black. With any color really, my sister used to do it in middle school, blue, purple, and green worked best.

Alyx, would I have to bleach my hair to get that hue?

You shouldn't have too. To get Ravens' brightest results you'd have too. But like I said, my sister did it in middle school all the time. She box dyed her hair black and a few days later she'd buy manic panic shades and would just put it on for a few hours. You can even do different layers of different colors for super rad tints. My sister used to do purple on the bottom, and then layers of blue and green on top. It looked so cool, especially in braids. I wish I had photos but this was a good 10 years ago lol. :) plus if you don't like the tint (some colors don't come out great tints, but blue, purple and green look good) you can easily have it washed out in a few weeks.

Wow! This sounds a lot easier that I assumed. I have some manic panic in my cabinet now.. It's a tealish tone. Thank you so much Alyx! 💕☺️
